ANC reclaiming Tshwane back to the people

By AFRICA KA MAHAMBA
THE AFRICAN NATIONAL Congress has started to reclaim Tshwane back to the people after it given to the DA by the EFF on a silver platter.
This was kick-started by ANC NEC member Nomvula Mokonyane, Deputy ANC Chairperson in Tshwane Mapiti Matsena and Lesego Makhubela the regional chairperson of the Youth League in Tshwane supported by SANCO, the ANC Women’s League, SACP and MK Veterans Association.

Different speakers at the memorial service of ANC national organiser Simon Majuta Makhubela call for unity in the organisation. Makhubela was one of the hardworking ANC volunteers who has worked hard for the organisation until his last days.
The memorial service which was attended by more than a thousand ANC members was held at KT Motubatsi Hall in Soshanguve South.
Speaking at the event the radical, vigilant and discipline Tshwane ANC Youth League leader, Lesego Makhubela said Comrade Majuta Makhubela was focused and dedicated to the ANC.
“He never fought for position, as the ANC we must renew.Failed to renew we are going to die. There is no faction of Sputla or Mapiti that can bring Tshwane back to the ANC. To speak the truth we lost Tshwane in 2014, not because of the EFF giving the city to the DA, Eff is just the youth wing of the DA.

“Unity IS Power, we need to unite the ANC, and there is no counsellor alone who can win the elections. They have killed Comrade Gaddafi and now look at Libya. The same story will happen in South Africa. Rise up and defend the ANC. They don’t want Zuma to go, they want ANC to go,” said Makhubela.
ANC NEC member Nomvula Mokonyane said they came to the memorial to learn about the political life of Majuta who was organising to build the ANC.
“He contributed to unite the ANC and building it. It is not the leaders who made the ANC, it is the members. We must reclaim Tshwane. We can only reclaim Tshwane if we are united not involving Whatsapp branches.
“When they came here in 1652 they came with empty boats now they stole our land and livestock. The struggle was about land and economic freedom. Our children and young women are being killed, where is Save SA.
“The enemy is within the ANC.Let’s discussed this and reviews our own laws. Let’s have volunteers who will help us to rebuild the ANC in Tshwane and the country as a whole,” said Mokonyane. africa@citypost.co.za
